I'm really going to try and make this page sound decent and not like the Holiday Christmas Cards we all get from lame friends each December. Somehow, I don't know if that's possible... For those of you who haven't figured it out yet, my name is Todd "Lopez" Rogers. I'm a 23 year old Software Engineer from Fairfax Virginia. I live in the wonderful suburbs of DC, a thriving town for IT specialists like myself. I work for Lockheed Martin, Management and Data Sytems where I'm a System Administrator and Web Developer.

I've been working with computers and technology for the last 12 years or so. I learned HTML and put my first homepage up 3 years ago while I was a student at the University of Pittsburgh. Lopez's Lair Version 1.0, was quite awful, filled with gaudy backgrounds and bright text. After some growing pains and some extensive experience with Photoshop, I've tried to make Lopez's Lair a little more "user friendly". These pages are always evolving, as any good page should, with each new thing that I learn about web and graphics design. In the near future, I'll probably throw some Flash animation and more Javascript in here as well as some nicer graphics. That will happen with the next web page "upgrade". Don't expect anything too flashy though. I'm a big fan of Keeping It Simple and Stupid. Flashy things only look good in moderation, IMHO.

I graduated in April of 1998, from the University of Pittsburgh, with a Natural Science degree with concentrations in Information Science, Computer Science and Psychology. While in school, I did extensive computer work with my fraternity (Kappa Phi Sigma) and the Student Government Association. I plan on getting my Masters from George Washington University, beginning this fall. I also do freelance web design/development for interested parties. I'm really into Soccer, Golf, and Basketball. I have more fantasy sports teams than I can keep up with and I also enjoy backpacking.

I'm originally from McKean, PA (outside of Erie PA) and my kin folk as well as quite a few of my friends still live there. I have a page that has the low down on my family. It's coincidentally named "My Family Page" or something similar. The other pages of Lopez's Lair should fill you in on the other details in my life, this was just meant to be a quick overview of who I am. Now, Go explore or something.
