More Powder Coating, Head work, 392

Picked up my heads and decked block Monday (6/16) night.

Got the block on the stand, and one head upside down on the work cart.

Before I went to town on the heads, I powder coated the tappet cover and front cover and popped 'em in the oven.. and took pics of the valve covers/oil filter adapter in sunlight.

So while the "tin" baked, I ground.

First, a test fit of the Stan's Industrial Chromed Headers..

Then some black paint on the head..

Followed by the header gasket, and some fake-chrome I had lying around from years ago..

Here's an unmolested "bowl" view of an SV392 IC head..

More Porting Pics

Tappet and front covers after coating. You can see that I had an "accident" on the way to the oven.. :(

And the head when I called it a night..
