Binder Bash 2004

Back in June, Michelle and I *finally* managed to make it to the IH show closest to home.. the Just Internationals Club Binder Bash in Coeur D' Alene, ID.

A short 300 mile drive.

We went over Friday morning and spent the day at the Silverwood Amusement park, then spent Saturday at the Kootenai Fairgrounds at the show.

A bunch of interesting IHs, and some new faces I hadn't met yet.

We only took the Travelette. Oscar still had the hardtop on, Little Devil still needed a transmission, and Tigger still needed some shocks and a broken U-bolt plate replaced, and it just didn't seem worth the trouble.

Besides, it was a nice easy drive for the new 392 with no load on it. ~10mpg at 75mph, pulling 15" of vacuum at 3500rpm.

Not bad.

Unfortunately, going to a show without any toys isn't terribly fun, and with just my "non-descript" 4dr longbox pickup, I didn't meet as many people as I wanted to.. despite wearing my black Gryphin Racing jacket with "WE RACE FARM EQUIPMENT" across the back. :D
