After missing RMIHR for a few years, and with Joleigh old enough to consider taking her on a road trip of this magnitude, and getting AC installed in the '73, we loaded up and headed south for the 2007 RMIHR
We took a bit of a scenic route, stopping in Whitehall, MT for the 2007 Divide Ride to take care of some M4x4A business before motoring on through Yellowstone to Willy Cunningham's place in Lander, WY.On the way, we spotted two Scouts..
And took a picture of our 73, loaded down with the hitch-hauler out the back for the stroller and cooler.
On our way through Yellowstone we did spot some native "wild" life..
We spent some time at Old Faithful, but nothing spectacular.
We arrived in Lander late Wednesday night to a warm reception from Willy and Tina.
We had some fun at Joleigh's expense, when Willy's yellow lab got excited at Joleigh petting her, and kicked out with her hind feet and knocked the 1-year-old on her tail.
Helped Willy load up his stuff for the trip..
And met Hutch while I was there.
More pictures from Willy's place
On our way out of Wyoming on to Colorado, we stopped in Saratoga for lunch, only to find a note on Willy's windshield when we left - and we had to make a slight detour to check out another IH for sale.
Fortunately, we were all able to "pass" on it at the moment and continued on.
