With new tires, comes new problems.
I decided I needed more rear tire clearance, and since nature (rust) was helping me along, I did a little quickie tubbing while I was doing the rear disc brake conversion.
Cut the front of the body stiffener out.
Cut the edge where the wheel tub is welded to the inner wall, then apply hammer.
If you have enough good metal left, here is your chance to weld in a patch.
Look at the mess that come out with the hammering!

You can see my rear floor isn't in much better shape than the part I cut out.
Weld up the seams.
Driver's side - you can see a few slits cut with the sawzall.
And a little paint to tidy it up.
