I took the racer to the 1999 Rocky Mountain IH Rendezvous. While there, I figured I'd try my luck on the RTI ramp.. and didn't do too bad!
I drove 95" up the 25 degree ramp for a score of 950RTI on a 25deg ramp. My driver's side tire is 40" off the ground!
I guess this race rig can TWIST! Amazing what soft, 1972 non-HD Scout II leaf springs (that I haven't softened up by cleaning up the springs n' greasing n' such) when combined with full width axles can do! If it wasn't for the axle truss... I'd be rock crawlin' in this thing!
