The new garage is a 30'x30' structure, with 10' walls. A "drivethrough" on the house side will have 9'wide x 7' tall doors on both ends and two "man doors", one on the side at either end. The far wall will have one 9'x9' door opening only to the backyard. This will lead into the work-bay.
The structure will be foam-block with concrete and rebar poured through it. This should be plenty strong, and has an R-value of 50. 42" frost-walls. The floor will be insulated and then water piping will be installed inside the concrete slab. This will then be heated by a propane fired hot-water heater to provide radiant floor heat.
